Oh, snap! Ricky Gervais jokingly slammed Ben Affleck at the 2016 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 10. The awards show host referred to Affleck’s alleged infidelity while introducing presenter and nominee Matt Damon, who also happens to be Affleck’s best friend.
“He’s also the only person who Ben Affleck hasn’t been unfaithful to. Please welcome Matt Damon,” the ballsy Brit, 54, said, welcoming a shocked Damon to the stage. “Thank you, ha,” a speechless and giggly Damon, 45, said once he arrived to the mic.
Affleck, 43, and Jennifer Garner announced they were separating after 10 years of marriage this past June. Us Weekly exclusively revealed that Affleck had a fling with their kids’ former nanny Christine Ouzounian. As previously reported, the Argo star romanced the nanny during his secret 10-month separation from Garner, prior to publicly announcing their divorce.
