Shine bright like a diamond! CBS is gearing up for three major upcoming events — Super Bowl 50, the 58th Annual Grammy Awards and a live edition of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert — and the network has enlisted none other than Rihanna to help promote them.
A brand new commercial starring the “Bitch Better Have My Money” singer was released on Saturday, January 16. In the clip, Rihanna, 27, stuns in a gold dress and heels as she takes the field to face off against NFL sportscasters Jim Nantz, James Brown and Phil Simms in a coin toss conducted by Stephen Colbert.
“We go first,” Nantz tells the Barbadian songstress, who responds, “I’m worth the wait.”
Super Bowl 50 airs Sunday, February 7, with halftime performances from Coldplay and Beyoncé, followed by a live taping of The Late Show. The Grammy Awards, which will presumably feature Rihanna, air one week later on Monday, February 15.
Rihanna has yet to announce the release date for her eighth studio album, Anti, but now is certainly looking like the right time to do so.
