A fresh start! Blac Chyna tweeted out fiancé Rob Kardashian’s cellphone number late Thursday, and while it may have seemed like a spontaneous, vengeful move, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly that the couple actually planned it out together.
The 28-year-old makeup artist wrote on Twitter on Thursday, September 29, “Rob Kardashian Number,” adding his digits for the world to see.
A source explained to Us that “it was time” for the 29-year-old dad-to-be to leave some people in his life behind once and for all. “All of these old friends and girls Rob had cut out of his life a long time ago kept popping up and texting him,” the source told Us. “Chyna was over it. She had been trying to get him to change his number for a while.”
By the time Chyna, who is pregnant and expecting the couple’s first child, shared his contact info with her followers, he had already ditched those digits. “It was all set up for him to have already switched to the new number when she blasted out the old one. They planned it,” the insider added. “Chyna convinced him it was time to clean house and get a new number.”
The model gave some insight into their plot on Snapchat on Thursday. “To ensure that your man is not texting no bitches, just tweet his number out,” she joked. “How’s that feel, Rob?”
“Feels good,” the Arthur George sock designer happily replied. Chyna continued, “Get your number changed, thank you! And to all these females wanna keep texting his phone ‘cause they had his number before, talking about ‘You good? You and Chyna good?’ Naw, we good! We good. We straight, all right?”
The bold decision comes just days after Kardashian shared his sister Kylie Jenner’s phone number on Twitter in a fit of rage over a botched baby shower. The makeup maven, 19, delivered the news that Chyna wasn’t welcome at the baby shower the Kardashian-Jenner sisters were throwing if Rob wasn’t attending. He was reluctant to show up after Kylie told him it would be filmed for Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
As Us Weekly previously reported, the Rob & Chyna stars are going through a rough patch in their relationship. “Rob and Chyna are not really broken up, but they are not in a good place right now,” one insider told Us. They have been living separately for now because of the increased fights. “They think it is a healthier way to live until the baby is born,” the source added.
