Robert Pattinson Ditches Twilight Fangs for New Flick Remember Me

Robert Pattinson's new romantic drama Remember Me is a far cry from the vampire stories of Twlight, but is it worth a trip to the theater?

Us Weekly's Bradley Jacobs praises Pattinson's solid performance as an NYU college student who romances Emilie de Ravin, but reasons the flick, out March 12, earns a two-star rating due to being overstuffed with cliches. R-Patts' performance is strong, but it's probably not his version of the Basketball Diaries, says our critic.

However, Jacobs is optimistic about how fellow New Moon-er Kristen Stewart will fare when her next project, The Runaways, debuts in two weeks.

The musical retelling of real-life 70s all-girl punk band. Stewart stars as Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie, known for her hit "Cherry Bomb." A crowd-pleasing flick, Runaways features a much buzzed-about same sex kiss between Stewart and Fanning.

While Pattinson and Stewart will bring in big box office returns this month, don't think their costar Taylor Lautner is just hanging around.

The teen star is set to earn a whopping $7.5 million payday for his role in the in-development action flick Stretch Armstrong, the first of four Lautner has in the works.
