It’s another freaky family! Robert Pattinson has sex in a limo (again!) in the first trailer for David Cronenberg‘s upcoming satirical drama, Maps to the Stars, which dropped Monday, April 14.
In the movie, Pattinson plays a limo driver who dreams of making it as an actor. In the meantime, he passes his time by getting to know Mia Wasikowska‘s character, a troubled pyromaniac named Agatha Weiss who has a dark past. Her father Stanford Weiss (John Cusack) is a millionaire who’s made his fortune via self-help books.
The Weiss family matriarch, played by Olivia Williams, is focused on her drug-addled son Benjie (Evan Bird) and his career as a child star. Julianne Moore plays a desperate actress whose mother tragically died in a fire. All the characters are connected by a dark secret.
Somewhere in the plotline, Pattinson has sex with Wasikowska in a limo. He’s also seen getting steamy with Moore.
“It’s very funny,” Pattinson told Entertainment Weekly of the script back in 2012. “It’s very, very dark.”
This is the Twilight hunk’s second time working with Cronenberg, after starring in the director’s 2012 thriller, Cosmopolis. In a January 2014 interview with The Wall Street Journal, Pattinson said his goal in the new year was “trying to see what my niche is.”
