A major gig for FKA twigs! Robert Pattinson‘s girlfriend and rising songstress FKA twigs had a big night on Saturday, Nov. 8, when she played to a packed crowd at a sold-out New York City concert — a crowd that included her dreamy British boyfriend.
Pattinson, 28, traveled to the Big Apple to support his leading lady. The Queen of the Desert actor took in twigs’ show at Manhattan’s Terminal 5, gazing intently at his girlfriend from the VIP section as she performed material off of her acclaimed debut studio album, LP1. He was in for an impressive show as the trained, elegant dancer showed off her incredibly toned figure and her dance moves throughout the set.
Eyewitnesses tell Us Weekly that the hunk, perched on the second floor of the venue, was intensely watching the singer with a “loving” look in his eyes — a feeling he later expressed by giving twigs a romantic gift.
Pattinson presented the “Two Weeks” singer with a dozen long-stemmed red roses in celebration of her successful show. She was seen cradling the flowers in her arms as she and her beau left the show. Insiders tell Us they subsequently went to an after party to celebrate.
Us Weekly exclusively revealed this past September that Kristen Stewart‘s ex-boyfriend has found new love in the stunning singer, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett.
“It’s early [on] but they’re having fun,” an insider told Us about the couple, who started dating this past summer. Last month, they were seen together in Paris after twigs played a show in the French city.
“He loves her voice, he loves her sense of style as well, how unique she is,” a second source tells Us of Pattinson’s feelings for twigs. “She’s a cool girl. His friends are much happier with him in this relationship than some of the others.”
After his messy breakup from Stewart in 2013, Pattinson was linked to various women but did not find a solid relationship until his current coupling.
“She’s the first girl that Rob’s really had feelings for since Kristen,” a third source adds. “It’s a big deal for him, and she’s also shown herself to be the kind of girl that he can see a future with. People are very happy for him.”
