Among the items: A traditional collectors’ Royal Baby Plate ($68), featuring the year along with a carousel of lions and unicorns and the phrase “celebrating our royal baby.” The English fine bone china, finished in 22-carat gold, comes wrapped in Royal Collection Trust tissue paper and a matching box. The carousel motif also carries over to a Royal Baby Pillbox ($44), velvet cushion ($144), and mug ($30).

With the debut of London’s official souvenirs also comes the knockoffs, just as they did when Middleton welcomed Prince George in 2013, and when the royal couple married in 2011. The best of the worst: Royal Morning Sickness bags, condoms, toilet seat covers, “Pear to the Throne” juice, and a Royal Wedding for Dummies book.
