Gave her love. Russell Wilson commented with the sweetest note after fiancée Ciara posted an Instagram message on Thursday, May 19, celebrating the second birthday of her son, Future Zahir.
The “Give Me Love” singer, who shares her child with ex Future, posted a professional photo of her little boy cozying up to her in a shoot.
“It Was Just Yesterday I Was Holding You In My Arms Like I Am In This Photo,” Ciara, 30, captioned the black-and-white portrait. “Now My Angel Baby Boy Is 2 Years Old!!….Running Around, Talking Up A Storm, Learning Fast & Getting Into Everything! It Has Truly Been The Best Life Experience Watching You Grow! I Am So Grateful To God For You, & I Can’t Wait To See All The Many Other Amazing Things He Has In Store For You! Mommy loves You Soooo Much! #HappyBirthday To My Prince, Future Zahir.”
Her fiancé, clearly moved by the note, then added a message of his own. “Watching him grow over the past year and a half has been the most fulfilling and special things I’ve ever been around,” the Seattle Seahawks player, 27, wrote in reply on Ciara’s post. “He gets the purest and the sweetest love from you and to watch you be the woman and mom you are ALL the time. Every morning. Every night. Every day… No matter what the circumstances or situation… good or bad… brings me so much joy & most importantly him. He is so blessed to have you hold him and hug him and love him with so much pure and real love that he will have no limits to what God has in store for him.”
Wilson concluded his heartfelt message by writing: “You both bring me pure joy and I can’t wait to see him grow more and more into the loving, caring, kind-hearted man that he will be…2 years old! Wow. God is good!”
In an interview with Essence last month, Ciara recalled her split from Future — Us Weekly exclusively revealed in 2014 that the producer had cheated with a wardrobe stylist — and finding true love with Wilson. The quarterback proposed in Seychelles this past March.
“I remember telling my friend the kind of guy I wanted: a God-fearing man with a very fun spirit who loves kids and would really, truly care for me,” the “1, 2 Step” singer told the mag. “I was very specific because I do believe you can have it all.”
