Viral Christian blogger Sam Rader caused a minor uproar when he was kicked out of the Vlogger Fair conference in Seattle on Saturday, Aug. 22 after reportedly threatening other attendees.

According to other bloggers, Rader, 29, got into a verbal altercation and was forced to leave to ensure the safety of the other vloggers.

“It was one person, and I didn’t make a threat,” Rader said in his defense to Gawker. “What happened was there was a couple of fellow vloggers who had ridiculed our family on Twitter regarding the method we were mourning the loss, our miscarriage on Twitter.”

Earlier this month, Sam and his wife Nia, 26, became a viral Internet sensation after their video showing Sam breaking the happy baby news to Nia received more than 14 million views. One week later, however, the couple tearfully revealed to fans that they had miscarried.

“If I made a threat, it was to the one person, and it was, ‘You need to watch out before he messes with my family,’” Sam told Gawker of what actually went down at the conference, adding that one person in particular “got in my face.”

It’s been a very tumultuous month for the Rader family. Just a few days after they shared the tragic news of the miscarriage, the Daily Mail reported that Sam was one of the many users who had an account on hacked cheating website AshleyMadison.com.

Sam came clean in a joint YouTube video with Nia the couple posted several days later.

“As you may have seen, my name has been associated with an Ashley Madison account,” he said in the video. “I’m here to clarify some of this with you guys, ‘cause I owe it to you: I did make the account. I made the account two years ago. This is an issue that is in our past. This was before I got onto YouTube.”

“I’ve sought forgiveness to God and he’s forgiven me,” he added. “So I’ve been completely cleansed of this sin.”
