Not what Rob Kardashian signed up for. During a Wednesday, March 30, interview on Australia’s Kylie & Jackie O radio show, Scott Disick revealed that ex Kourtney Kardashian’s little brother never wanted to be famous.
“Things are difficult sometimes, especially when you become in the spotlight very quickly overnight. Your whole life changes very quickly. He was just getting out of college, and then he became famous quickly, and I think it was a lot for him to handle,” Disick, 32, explained. “I don’t think that was the path he wanted to be on, and he just got caught in the middle of it. He’s one of the greatest guys I know. He’s got a good heart, and he’s just an amazing guy all round.”
While unintentionally becoming part of the Kardashian fame machine wasn’t easy for the Arthur George sock designer, Disick explained that his quasi brother-in-law is doing much better these days.
“He’s doing great — he’s doing actually unbelievable,” Disick said. “He had to take some time off, and I think he was a little down-and-out, but he’s doing a lot better, and I think he’s very happy.” See the latest photos of Rob here.
Friends of the formerly reclusive reality star, 29, seem to think his romance with Blac Chyna is to thank for his new lease on life.
“I love them together. … They are supersilly together,” Chyna’s BFF, Amber Rose, told Us Weekly exclusively on March 13. “They literally crack up and laugh all day long, like it’s not just a front for social media. They’re really supersilly, and they love each other, and they have a blast together. I’m really happy for her. She deserves it.”
Kardashian pal — and friendly ex to Khloé — French Montana also gave praise to the pair. “He has really good energy, and every time I speak to him he’s working out or doing something positive,” the rapper told Us of the E! personality’s bond with the former stripper. “I love that.”
Even Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, has conceded that Chyna “seems like a really nice girl.” “You know, he’s been very, very happy lately, and I think he’s in a really good place,” the momager, 60, told Kyle and Jackie O on March 23.
Kardashian and Chyna, 27, first went public with their relationship in January, which insiders told Us upset the Kardashian-Jenner family at the time. (Chyna’s ex Tyga is currently dating Kardashian’s half-sister Kylie Jenner.)
