One famous member of Bachelor Nation! Scott Foley revealed in an interview with Us Weekly last week that he will be one of the millions of viewers tuning in to watch the season 11 premiere of The Bachelorette on Monday, May 18.
The Scandal star, 42, will be watching the female-led version for the first time, catching the showdown between Bachelorettes Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson after previously only catching Chris Soules‘ season of The Bachelor.
“I’m so excited about it,” Foley told Us. “I’ve never seen The Bachelorette. Only The Bachelor, and for the first time last season.”
“I’m nervous!” he added of the upcoming season, which will feature two Bachelorettes for the first time, eliminating one for a final rose-giver. “Is it going to be as good? I know you’re going to get drama. I know this is going to get me in so much trouble [but] 25 women in a room. Is there as much drama with 25 men? Is there? I can’t f–king wait.”
Said drama is sure to take place not only between the 25 male contestants vying for the hearts of Bristowe and Nilsson, 27, but between the two women, as well.
“I was shocked,” Bristowe, 29, told Us of learning that she would be joined at the rose ceremonies by Nilsson. “Yes — I was kind of just beside myself, because I didn’t know what to think. I wasn’t excited about it. I just really had to take a step back and think of the light at the end of the tunnel.”
In addition to the men she met on The Bachelorette, Bristowe has another supporter in Foley.
“I’m Team Kaitlyn,” the actor told Us. “If [the men] watched The Bachelor, I think they’ll pick Kaitlyn. But it’s hard not to have a complete crush on Britt, too. She’s gorgeous.”
“Kaitlyn had a sense of humor that I found appealing,” Foley added. “And she’s Canadian. All Canadians are nice. Right?”
