Jason Street's having a boy! Scott Porter announced via Instagram on Thursday, Feb. 12, that he and his pregnant wife Kelsey Mayfield are expecting a son.
"Little guy is going to have a tough time deciding who to root for…but we'll love him not matter what school he chooses…right @kiwiporter?" the Friday Night Lights alum, 35, wrote. "#housedivided #PorterOnTheWay."
Teasing the mom-to-be, Porter posted a photo of rival Texas and Nebraska team football jerseys hanging from a clothesline. Porter is a native of Omaha, Native. He and Mayfield met while Porter filmed FNL in Texas back in 2008. At the time, she was a cheerleader at the University of Texas in Austin.
The proud future parents revealed they were expecting their first child together earlier this month at the Jupiter Ascending premiere in Hollywood.
"The Porter family always loves supporting friends like @channingtatum and #TheWachowskis," the Hart of Dixie star captioned a pic with Mayfield — and her noticeable baby bump — on Feb 2. "#JupiterAscending." Andy and Lana Wachowski direct the sci-fi flick, which stars Tatum and Mila Kunis.
