Charlize Theron and Sean Penn continue to keep fans guessing. The Oscar-winning actors — both of whom took home their Academy Awards back in 2003 — fueled ongoing speculation about a possible romance between them when they stepped out in L.A. on Jan. 5 for a movie date at Hollywood's ArcLight Cinemas.
Clad in skinny jeans, sandals, a charcoal blazer, and a light gray scarf wrapped twice around her neck, the Young Adult star kept her head down and her hands in her pockets as she and Penn made their way out of the theater following a showing of The Wolf of Wall Street.
Earlier in the weekend, the 38-year-old South African beauty and the 53-year-old Gangsters Squad star stopped to grab coffee at a local Starbucks. They also enjoyed some time on Friday at Theron's home in the Hollywood Hills.

The duo have been nearly inseparable since they were spotted last week on vacation in Hawaii, where twice-divorced Penn has a house. On Wednesday, Jan. 1 — just hours before heading back to L.A. on the same flight — they grabbed breakfast together with friends at the Manoa Surfrider.
"They seemed happy to be spending some time together, very comfortable," an onlooker told Us Weekly of the two. "They were both pretty relaxed and dressed down."
