A memorable 21st birthday (or should we say, not!) for Selena Gomez! Appearing on the Jay Leno Show Tuesday, July 23, the just-legal "Come & Get It" singer told the late-night host that she celebrated turning 21 on Monday, July 22, with a "shot of Jack Daniels whiskey.
Asked how many she had, the former Disney star laughed, "I don't remember."
Saying she was "a little bit" hungover after her celebration at Bagatelle restaurant in West Hollywood and after-party with friends at Beacher's Madhouse, the star shared the rest of her upcoming birthday plans.
"I'll have a birthday party this weekend [it's] going to be kind of a gypsy theme, I'm excited," she said. "We're gonna have skirts and tattoos and belly dancers … It'll be so fun."
The Spring Breakers actress, whose album Stars Dance hit July 23, recently told Ryan Seacrest during an E! special that, "I'm not the one who wants to shed the quote-unquote Disney image."
Nevertheless, Gomez, who confirmed to Seacrest that she is no longer dating 19-year-old Justin Bieber is no doubt enjoying adulthood. "I could not have asked for a better birthday," she tweeted July 22. "This one will be remembered forever."
