Selena Gomez has a lot to get off her chest.
The pop starlet and on-and-off love to Justin Bieber seems to have turned to social media to express her copious feelings. Late Monday evening, July 7, Gomez, 21, posted a slew of emotional photos and videos via Instagram.
She first shared a pretty shot of an outdoor water scene, captioning the tranquil image, "Always said I was going to end up there, but I guess that's where it was meant to end."
Next, she posted a video of herself at a microphone. Shot with a retro-inspired filter, the clip shows a sad-looking Gomez playing piano and wearing a floral top. "I don't know," she wrote with the video. "I'm on my way you know."
The same night, she took a screenshot of the comments on the video, captioning the upside-down image, "You're always listened to." The longest comment captured in the photo reads, "I love you. don't let anything or anyone bring you down. you are worth it. we are here for you. it hurts us seeing you sad."
Another comment reads, "I have a feeling from my heart when i hear about it," while a third takes a different tone, reading, "Girl, LET HIM GO! It's a toxic…"
Later in the evening, she posted a selfie, which shows half of her face in front of a palm tree scene. Gomez's hair looks wet from the water and she captioned the picture, "And usually always right," likely continuing her words of "You're always listened to" from the previous image.
Finally, she took another screenshot of a text message conversation. All that can be seen of what she wrote to the recipient are the words "lay down." The responding message reads, "I just wanna give you a hug and remind you how special you are." While Gomez did not name the sender, she wrote, "That's who you wanna wake up to. #promise."
While many commenters have speculated that the image shows a conversation with Bieber, he gave few clues on Monday night. Instead, the singer, 20, simply tweeted a smiley face emoticon.
