She just wants to sound good for you! In an interview with Us Weekly Video, Selena Gomez spoke about wanting to prove her vocal chops on her upcoming Revival Tour.
“I just wanna perform. I’m not trying to dance as much as I did the last run,” the new face of Coca-Cola’s Share-a-Coke campaign tells Us in the clip above. “I really — I just wanna sing. And I wanna show people that I can sing.”
Gomez, 23, says that she’s never been more excited for any other project than her latest stage show, her first tour since 2013’s Stars Dance Tour.
“I have never cared about a tour as much as I care about this one. I’ve never worked as hard,” the “Same Old Love” songstress explains to Us of the Revival Tour, which kicks off in Las Vegas on May 6.
“Every day I start with a workout, I do vocal lessons, I do piano lessons,” she adds of her pre-tour prep. “I go on stage and we map out the whole thing.”
