Wake up, pops! Shiloh Jolie-Pitt didn’t let her famous dad, Brad Pitt, off the hook when she recently caught him sleeping on the job. In a new featurette, Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s adorable 9-year-old is seen shooting a slingshot at the actor on set of By the Sea.
Shiloh looks proud of herself in the clip for interrupting his catnap. The hunky star, meanwhile, quickly sits up and appears agitated. “Dammit!” he says.
The World War Z star and Jolie, 40, star in the romantic drama, which the actress also wrote and directed. The couple made it a family affair when they filmed the project on the island of Gozo, off Malta. Son Maddox, 14, was a production assistant, and they were also accompanied by Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 7.
“We can experiment and play and it’s oddly a safer environment than any set I’ve been on before,” Pitt says in the featurette. “So we let loose!”
Pitt and Jolie play a married couple from the mid-1970s in the movie. Their characters fight, grow apart, and travel France together.
“When I was writing it I never actually assumed we’d do it. So I wrote with a certain kind of freedom,” Jolie says. “Everybody knows that there’s never just the tragedy of life or the humor of life or the pure joy of life. Relationships have those extremes. You can absolutely madly love the same person you want to kill.”
