Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello just moved in together, but don’t expect them to start decorating a baby nursery any time soon! The Modern Family actress opened up about one day having children with the hunky star in the May 2015 issue of Cosmo For Latinas.

“When you’re with somebody that hasn’t had kids, and you want to start a relationship, of course there’s always that question,” Vergara, 42, told the mag. “And if it happens, it will be something that will make us very happy, but it’s not a priority in our lives.”

The Hot Pursuit star is already mom to son Manolo, 22, whom she welcomed at age 20 with her ex-husband Joe Gonzalez. Her handsome boy will perhaps play a role in the couple’s upcoming nuptials, but Vergara may not have too many gal pals standing next to her at the altar.

“In Latin America we don’t have bridesmaids, we only have flower girls,” she explained to Cosmo For Latina. She added of Manolo: “I think it’s so hard to raise kids nowadays and he has grown up to be so respectful and responsible.”

Manolo and the Magic Mike XXL actor, 38, joined Vergara at her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on May 7. The day proved to be a memorable one for Vergara, who also invited her entire family from Colombia. After the special honor, everyone celebrated at a big bash.

Vergara took a spin on the dance floor with Manganiello, and even showed off her Latin roots with colorful headgear. The star admits that there aren’t many roles for Latinas, but there’s still a lot to be grateful for. “…We shouldn’t be complaining because a Latin girl just won a Golden Globe [Jane the Virgin’s Gina Rodriguez], a Latin director [Birdman’s Alejandro González Iñárritu] just won an Oscar. We should be very happy that there are people out there who are doing things and being recognized,” Vergara proudly told the mag.

She added: “Sometimes you want fame to go away a little bit, because you want to do normal things. I think I’m old enough that I’ve already enjoyed all of it, so if it goes away, I think I’m still going to be okay. It was never really what I was looking for — it wasn’t even being an actress or being famous — it was just supporting myself and making money and doing a business for myself.”
