Pack those bags! Sofia Vergara and fiancé Joe Manganiello plan to hit the road when it comes time to say "I do." According to the Modern Family actress, she and the Magic Mike XXL hunk have their sights set on a destination wedding, the better to accommodate all of their out-of-town guests.
"I want all the people from Colombia and South America and from Europe to be able to make it to the wedding," Vergara, 42, told Entertainment Tonight late last week, "and Los Angeles is very far away from everything." (Sources tell Us Weekly that one possible location is The Breakers in Palm Beach, Fla.)
The Hot Pursuit star was mum on a wedding date, but she previously hinted that they might be looking at an autumn walk down the aisle.
"We're trying right now to figure it out," the Colombian-American beauty told Access Hollywood in January. "We're kind of busy, so we're trying to do it maybe [this] fall. This summer is too busy."
One thing she does know? "It's going to be big," she teased. "We started off with 20 [on the guest list], and now there's like pages and pages."
Incidentally, Vergara and her love just celebrated a different (but also important) date together — their first anniversary! On Sunday, June 14, the four-time Emmy nominee took to Instagram to give her groom-to-be a sweet shout-out.
"Happy 1st Anniversary love of my life!!!" she captioned a photo of herself with the True Blood alum. "Never been so happy!! #lucky"
