“It’s pretty clear that the [Star Wars] franchise is staying alive,” the comedian, 41, told viewers on the Monday, December 21, episode of his show. “So we thought we would show our excitement the only way we know how: by editing footage of the Star Wars movies to the tune of ‘Stayin’ Alive.’ You can clap along, you can dance along!”

The minute-long clip also features the likes of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Jabba the Hutt — beloved characters who sing the lyrics and dance in other shots.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which premiered this past weekend, shattered the opening-weekend box office record with a whopping $238 million in domestic ticket sales. The newest film in the George Lucas–created franchise — directed by J.J. Abrams and starring Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver and Lupita Nyong’o — broke the previous record of Jurassic World, which opened this summer with $208.8 million in ticket sales.
