Glamour runs in the family! The Golden Globes will have just a little extra sparkle this year thanks to Sylvester Stallone‘s three stunning daughters — Scarlet, 14, Sistine, 18, and Sophia, 20 — who will share the title of Miss Golden Globe for the 2017 ceremony.

The announcement that for the first time ever, there’d be not one, but three Miss Golden Globes was made by Hollywood Foreign Press Association President Lorenzo Soria at a Fiji Water-sponsored HFPA bash at Catch in West Hollywood on Thursday, November 10. The annual title is bestowed on the daughter or son of a celebrity, and tasks them with the responsibilities of carrying the statuettes and escorting the honorees on and off the stage at the ceremony. Dakota Johnson, Laura Dern and Freddie Prinze Jr. have all previously held the role.

Speaking to Us Weekly shortly after the announcement, the sisters said that their famous dad was the one who got the call – and the one to give them the good news. “He gathered us all in the living room and we kind of knew something was up, but we didn’t know what was going on,” Sistine recalls. “We said, ‘Oh, god, it’s bad news, who died? What’s going on?’” When they realized the news was positive, the family celebrated.

“We started screaming,” Sophia tells Us. “We were dancing and music was playing — it was so much fun.” Excited that the night will be a family affair, Scarlet adds, “It’s even better that we get to do this with our best friends — we’re all best friends.”

Although Miss Golden Globe is usually given to an up-and-coming starlet, the sisters say they have no real plans to follow in their dad’s footsteps. Sophia, who’s pursuing a degree in Art History at USC, tells Us, “I don’t think any of us will be actresses. [Sistine] will be the model, and I could see myself being in the movies behind the scenes, because I love watching my dad work — he’s the best and he lives in my house, so why not learn from him?” Added Scarlet, “I’m only in junior high, so I don’t think I even know!”

The sisters were in the house last year (along with their mom, Stallone’s wife of 19 years, Jennifer Flavin Stallone, 48) while their father took home the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe for reprising his iconic Rocky role in Creed, but they say their parents are happy to let them take the spotlight this year on their own. Says Sophia, “I think they know we’ve grown up and we’ve been at events with them many times and we’ve watched behind the scenes how it works, and I think our parents thought we were ready and they were like, ‘We’re there for you!’” Adds Scarlet, “They’re 100 percent supportive.”

The next step, the sisters tell Us, is just finding something to wear! Sistine says she’s not picky, as long as it’s “something gorgeous that we all look fabulous in!”

The 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards will air on NBC on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at 8 p.m. ET.
