Update: Tamar Braxton made a triumphant return during Monday night's Dancing With the Stars competition. The Season 21 contestant left the hospital and made her way to the dance floor despite suffering from pneumonia, and was helped back into the studio by a producer.

Braxton, along with pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy and fellow contestant Nick Carter and his partner Sharna Burgess, performed a Cirque du Soleil number from the Beatles' Love, and received a score of 27 out of 30.

The Grammy-nominated singer is safe for another week.

TMZ reported that the Mirrorball Trophy hopeful has been sick for the past two weeks. During Monday's show, the judges viewed a taping of their performance in lieu of her absence. They scored a 22 out of 30. Last week, Braxton and Chmerkovskiy danced the paso doble and earned a 28 out of 30.

Kim Zolciak, who was partnered with pro Tony Dovolani, was forced with withdraw earlier in the season after she suffered a ministroke and could not perform. Following her elimination, Zolciak created an online petition to return, but ABC stuck to their decision. The Don’t Be Tardy star will return for the show’s finale though.
