It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Taylor Swift and bestie Hailee Steinfeld got into the holiday spirit on Thursday, Dec. 19, by spending the day baking Christmas cookies and making Christmas cards together — and then sharing their handiwork online.
“It’s not possible for her to be cuter or for this day to be more festive,” the 24-year-old “I Knew You Were Trouble” songstress captioned an Instagram photo of actress Steinfeld, 17, posing next to a small, decorated Christmas tree and a batch of freshly frosted cookies. Alongside another picture — this one of both stars holding Christmas decorations — she wrote, “Merry Swiftmas and Hailee New Year.”
Steinfeld got in on the Instagram action, too. The Oscar nominee shared a snapshot of the duo’s card-making supplies — scissors, sharpies, ribbon, glue sticks — writing simply, “Handmade, with love.”
Not long after, the Ender’s Game star posted a pic of herself and Swift holding the finished products and wearing giant red bows in their hair. “That moment when the ribbon from your gift becomes a hair accessory,” she tweeted alongside the photo.
“She’s amazing,” Steinfeld gushed to Ellen DeGeneres in October of BFF Swift. “We hang out and bake and talk about boys and stuff. And we watch hours of cat videos on YouTube.”
