Acts of kindness never go out of Style, Taylor! On Sunday, Feb. 8, Taylor Swift had a busy night at the 2015 Grammys. From dancing in her seat with her gal pals from the band Haim and her date/childhood friend Abigail Anderson to presenting Sam Smith with the Best New Artist Award, the “Blank Space” singer had a packed night. But that didn’t prevent her from giving one fan an unforgettable evening.
Jill Ralke is a longtime follower of the four-time Grammy winner, 25, and got a major surprise when she posted on her personal Tumblr page that she was attending the show with her date.
Swift saw the post and replied, “Seriously!????!?!!! Where are you gonna be? Inside? Red carpet?”
What happened next was like a fairy tale for Ralke, who posted the pictures to Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr.
“Taylors publicst tree came and got me from my seat and brought me backstage to meet Taylor,” she captioned her backstage selfies. “Right when I saw her, she said JILL!!! And we got to talk for 3 minutes. She was so sweet again, told me I looked beautiful and told me she’d she me online. Best day of my life. 2/8/15.”
The pair posed for pictures backstage, and Ralke got a behind-the-scenes look at the biggest award show in the music industry.
“What is going on right now?!?!? I feel like i’m on top of the world. so happy :D,” she tweeted on Monday, Feb. 9. “Today has been so crazy. I’m so thankful for @taylorswift13 It’s gonna be hard to get back to reality.”
This isn’t the first time Swift has surprised a fan. In January, the former country artist sent a longtime follower a series of gifts including a check for $1,989 toward her student loans. She also sent some fans early Christmas presents in November.
