The “Red” singer, 24, and Barefoot Contessa host Ina Garten, 66, teamed up for the 2014 July/August issue, which happened to be its first-ever music issue.
Swift, who brought along her mom Andrea and brother Austin for the cooking session, has been a fan of Garten’s for years and owns all of her cookbooks. Garten, herself, is fond of the leggy singer, admitting she, in turn, own’s all of Swift’s albums.
The duo, along with Swift’s family members, cooked up the singer-songwriter’s favorite Barefoot Contessa recipes, including mustard-roasted fish and pavlova, and talked about their frustrations regarding people who don’t like to eat.
Swift took to her own Instagram back in March to share her excitement of meeting the chef. “A day of cooking in the Hamptons with my HERO. How bad can that be? @inagarten @foodnetwork_mag,” the singer captioned the selfie.
Garten returned the love, posting the same snap with the caption: “Just another day at the office – OMG cooking with Taylor Swift! Love her!!! @taylorswift @foodnetwork_mag.”
