That’s what friends are for! Taylor Swift‘s childhood BFF Abigail Anderson posted a sweet message to the singer on Wednesday, June 1, shortly after news broke that Swift had split from boyfriend Calvin Harris.
“There are few things more significant or valuable than a friendship that will withstand the test of time,” Anderson captioned an Instagram photo of a card featuring a heart and stars. “Thank you for getting me. Always. @taylorswift.”
The ink-painted card included an additional note: “My weird heart loves your weird heart.” (It’s unclear whether Anderson decorated the card for Swift or if she received the note from her famous pal.)
Us Weekly confirmed on Wednesday that Harris, 32, recently ended his relationship with Swift, 26, after 15 months of dating. The pair met at the 2015 Brit Awards and celebrated their one-year anniversary in March. (Last week, Us also confirmed that Swift helped nurse the Scottish DJ back to health following his scary car accident.)
“Taylor is doing OK now, but she was upset,” an insider told Us of the split on Wednesday. Another source added: “It just wasn’t working anymore.”
Swift, who previously dated Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles and John Mayer, opened up about their relationship to Vogue in April.
“I’m just taking things as they come,” she said. “I’m in a magical relationship right now. And of course I want it to be ours, and low-key. This is the one thing that’s been mine about my personal life.”
