Home and happy! This holiday season is particularly special for Teresa Giudice, who was released from prison after 11 months just last week. The mother of four spent Christmas Eve with her family at her brother Joe Gorga’s New Jersey home.
Though the family has sparred in the past — mostly during Giudice, 43, and Melissa Gorga’s time on The Real Housewives of New Jersey — they put their differences aside to celebrate together.
“They had a really nice family dinner,” a source tells Us of the “intimate” gathering, which included the Giudices, the Gorgas and Teresa and Joe’s parents.
The source adds that the cameras were rolling during the low-key event so fans will get to see what really went on.
“Melissa and Teresa had a conversation where they talked through their relationship and talked about how to move forward,” the source notes of the former rivals.
Though Melissa, 36, didn’t share any photos with her newly released sister-in-law, she did Instagram several shots of her decorated home.
“Table is ready! Merry Christmas everyone,” she captioned a pic of herself and her daughter, Antonia, standing at the end of a long table with a Christmas tree in the corner.
She also posted a shot with her husband, Joe, and their three kids — Antonia, Gino, and Joey — around another lavishly decorated tree with the caption “Christmas eve.”
The Gorgas’ children enjoyed their time with Teresa and Joe Giudice’s children — Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana — during the family gathering, the source noted.
"The kids played and had the best time together,” the insider added. “They all love each other.”
