“Watching the Pope Francis coverage on TV and I am crying; what a wonderful man, such a kind and gentle soul #ProudCatholic,” the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 43, shared with her followers.

Giudice, who has been in prison since January, is a devout Catholic and has been keeping the faith during her 15-month sentence. She and husband Joe Giudice were found guilty on charges of fraud last year.

“Oh, please God bring me home to my family as soon as possible,” Giudice can be heard praying while phoning her family from the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn., in a recently released sneak peek of the upcoming RHONJ special. “And bless my four daughters and my husband. Amen.”

This isn’t the first time the reality personality has had access to the Internet while locked up.

Watch What Happens Live! host Andy Cohen told Entertainment Weekly that Giudice “seems like she is okay” in emails that she has sent to him from prison. “She definitely has not lost her sense of humor, which I really admire.”
