Special visitor. Teresa Giudice visited her husband, Joe Giudice, for the first time in prison, Us Weekly can confirm.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 43, traveled to the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, on Friday, April 15. (The prison is more than 90 minutes away from their Franklin Lakes estate.)
Teresa has kept mum about the reunion on social media, but she did retweet fans comments and a throwback photo of herself and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga on the same day. On Sunday, she tweeted about her soccer mom duties.
“Getting ready to see Gabriella’s soccer game with @TrueGia #soccermom #TSF #sisterlove,” she wrote.
As previously reported, the Bravo star has been focusing on the couple’s daughters — Gia, 15, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 10, and Audriana, 6 — since Joe, 43, surrendered on March 23 to begin his 41-month sentence for fraud. (Teresa completed her own 11-month sentence last year and returned home on December 23.)
“It’s very lonely in the house without Joe there, but since Teresa has just finished filming, she’s back in her element and able to take the girls to all their activities,” a source told Us. “She’s back in full-on mom mode.”
The Turning the Tables author has also been filming RHONJ and continues to work on her yoga certification. “The girls are in school during the day, so Teresa has been visiting with friends and practicing yoga a lot,” the source added. “[Her certification] is taking much longer because her probation stopped her from attending everything she wanted.”
