It all started on a high note for the rapper. He unveiled his new clothing line, Yeezy Season 3, to a packed Madison Square Garden on February 11 with his adoring wife, Kim Kardashian, and the rest of her clan in attendance. He even previewed tracks from his new album, The Life of Pablo, at the buzzy affair.
Things got a little shaky when members of Taylor Swift’s girl squad spoke out against West on Twitter, reacting to the controversial lyrics in his new song “Famous” that claim he “made that bitch famous.”
Despite a triumphant performance at Saturday Night Live, West couldn’t stay on top. Backstage audio leaked from Page Six featured an angry West. Several Twitter rants revealed $53 million in self-proclaimed debt, a request to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg for a bailout and a much-mocked misspelling of “throne.” Even more drama ensued after Swift took a subtle jab at West during her Grammys acceptance speech.
