While the cause of Conway’s death was not immediately known, his rep tells Us that he passed away “following a long illness at a health care facility in Los Angeles. Arrangements are pending.”

Less than two years prior to his death, Conway underwent brain surgery while his wife, Charlene Conway, and daughter Kelly Conway fought over sole conservatorship over the late actor, whom Kelly claimed was suffering from dementia.

“My brothers and I would like to thank the overwhelming support for my dad from fans all over the world that are contacting me via phone, email and social media,” she told Fox News in a statement in September 2018. “It lifts my brothers and me up to know that so many people love him.”

A judge later appointed Charlene as the conservator of the former SpongeBob SquarePants voice actor, who was “unable to make his own healthcare decisions.”

Tim showcased his comedic talents on The Carol Burnett Show from 1975 to 1978. The late actor played fan favorites, including Oldest Man and Mr. Tudball, on the variety series fronted by the beloved Carol Burnett. His stint on the hour-long comedy show earned him several sought-after awards, including a Golden Globe in 1976 and Emmy Awards in 1973, 1977 and 1978.
