Before Beyonce, before Solange, there was . . . Tina Knowles! The 60-year-old fashion designer joined her famous daughters over the weekend at Coachella in Indio, Calif., where scheduled performer Solange, 27, was joined onstage by her mega-star sister, 32, onstage for a surprise dance number. In photos shared by Beyonce on her blog, mama Tina fight right in with Coachella revelers.
In one photo, she wears a crown and stylish leather jacket as she dances alongside Solange. In another, especially striking photo, the youthful, model-esque matriarch chills out for the outdoor music fest, sitting in a folded chair wearing torn jeans, clingy top and several rings and bracelets.
Fans pretty much “lost” it when Beyonce stormed the stage to boogy along (in synchronized moves, of course) with Solange during her song “Losing You.” (Elsewhere at the fest, Bey’s hubby Jay Z former rival Nas to perform “Dead Presidents” onstage for the first time ever.)
Bey and Solange have collaborated together many times before: Solange was once a backup dancer for Destiny’s Child, and co-wrote Beyonce’s 2006 track “Upgrade U,” among other projects.
