Tom Cruise is on a mission to move.
“Tom hates living in L.A. and is relocating to Florida,” a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. “He thinks all the people in Hollywood are fake.”
The Scientologist, 53, who listed his Beverly Hills mansion for $59 million, is also looking forward to being closer to his church’s headquarters in Clearwater, Fla. Fellow believer John Travolta “loves his life there and inspired Tom,” says the source. “He was ready to go.”
But where the Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation star didn’t go recently was London for daughter Bella Cruise’s wedding.
Bella, 22, whom the actor adopted with ex-wife Nicole Kidman in 1992, married her boyfriend, Max Parker, in a secret ceremony last month, a source confirmed to Us Monday. Her younger brother, Connor Cruise, whom the former couple adopted in 1995, was in attendance.
“The wedding happened a couple of weeks go, on Sept. 18,” the insider tells Us. “And was a super low-key, small ceremony. Connor was there but both Tom and Nicole were not.”
The source added, “Bella really didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. There wasn’t even any sort of official reception.”
