One step at a time! Following his severe car accident in June, comedian Tracy Morgan has been slowly working toward a full recovery. The 30 Rock alum, 46, was spotted on Saturday, Jan. 31, walking with a cane to a hospital in New York with his fiancee Megan Wollover.
As previously reported, Morgan suffered from a broken leg, broken femur, broken nose, and broken ribs after the six-vehicle crash, which left fellow passenger James McNair dead. Morgan stayed in the ICU for 10 days before starting physical therapy.
This past June, the Top Five actor’s limo was hit by a Walmart truck driver on the New Jersey Turnpike. He has since filed a lawsuit against the giant corporation claiming the company was “careless and negligent in the ownership and operation of its motor vehicle, which caused Mr. Morgan to suffer severe personal injuries.”
Walmart filed a countersuit, saying the comic wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
“Mr. Morgan is a fighter," his lawyer Benedict Morelli told reporters in December. "He's fighting to get better. If there's a chance to be back to the Tracy Morgan he once was, he is going to try to do that. We just don't know. But is he doing much better? He's doing better.”
