Tyga is weighing in on the new relationship between his ex Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian — but his comments are far from fiery.
The “Rack City” rapper, 26, looked nonplussed when E! News asked him to comment on their surprise romance on Wednesday, January 27.
“Everybody deserves to be happy,” he said simply while leaving a friend’s house in Los Angeles. He and Chyna, 27, dated for three years and are parents of son King Cairo Stevenson, 3.
Tyga’s current girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, has stayed mum about her older brother’s decision to date Chyna, who has a long history of controversy with the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
On Monday, January 25, Chyna and Rob, 28, caused a stir on social media after the makeup artist shared a black-and-white photo of herself in embrace with a man who had tattoos identical to those Rob sports on his left arm.
“The beginning,” she captioned the romantic snapshot.
Jenner, 18, posted and deleted a drawing from her Instagram that may have been a nod to Rob on Monday, but has otherwise not commented on the relationship.
Her older sister Khloé, meanwhile, has shared a series of pointed posts via social media, notably quoting The Godfather.
“You can do anything. But never go against the family,” she tweeted Monday, though she later explained that she had written that in reference to another family member.
“You guys do know I have about 100 family members correct?” she wrote. “I was referring to a family member who just bailed out of doing my talk show today. But hey, maybe my quote can go towards a few people today.”
