Back in the day, fans blamed Angelina Jolie for the demise of Jennifer Aniston‘s marriage to Brad Pitt. But according to pals of the 43-year-old Aniston — now engaged to Justin Theroux — that historic 2005 divorce was written in the stars.
“Jen is really into astrology,” a friend recently told Us Weekly. An independently-minded Aquarius, the Wanderlust star clashed with Pitt, 48, a risk-loving Sagittarius. “[Brad] did not match with her in that sense,” the friend adds.
Her hubby-to-be Theroux, 41, on the other hand “is a Leo,” the pal explains, “which she thinks is a good match for her . . . [Justin] is the rock she needs in her her life.”
Speaking of rocks, Aniston’s engagement ring from Theroux, which he presented two weeks ago on his 41st birthday in NYC, is “stunning,” another friend gushes to Us.
