She approves! Yolanda Hadid is opening up about her daughter Gigi Hadid’s relationship with Zayn Malik in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.
“They’re beautiful together and, you know, that’s up to them,” the 53-year-old Making a Model host said. “It’s their journey. I’m here to support in whatever their journey is. And you know, they’re still young.”
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also shared how happy it makes her that Gigi and her other two children, Bella and Anwar, who she shares with ex-husband Mohamed Hadid, are so successful in their modeling careers.
“As a mom, that’s all you can wish for is your kids to be successful in something they love to do and choose to do,” the Believe Me author said. “So it’s really great. I’m blessed.”
Us Weekly broke the news in November 2015 that the “Dusk Till Dawn” singer, 24, and the model, 22, are dating. The former One Directioner also gushed about his girlfriend to Us in September and revealed how the couple handles dating in the spotlight.
“We try not to think about it too much,” the British singer said. “There are a lot of people who are too busy in other people’s lives. I just concentrate on my relationship and try to do right by my girlfriend and she does by me, and we hope for the best, as we all do!”
As far as date night goes, the pair “both cook,” Malik shared, “so we like to make meals for each other. I make chicken and sweet corn pie. She likes that.”
The supermodel previously dated Cody Simpson from May 2014 to May 2015 and Joe Jonas from May 2015 to November 2015.
Meanwhile, the “Still Got Time” songster previously romanced Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards. The duo got engaged in August 2013 but split in summer 2015.
