Among the many memes that have popped up recently about President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden’s bromance, an old photo of the VP as a 26-year-old has resurfaced — and he was really, really ridiculously hot!
The picture from 1968, the year Biden graduated from Syracuse University College of Law, shows him standing in front of some palm trees in a red button-down shirt. The former Delaware senator originally shared the throwback pic in July 2014 when the Affordable Care Act allowed individuals up to age 26 to be on their parents’ health insurance.
“For all the 26 year-olds —> short sleeve button-downs are making a comeback, but health care has never gone out of style. Don’t forget to #GetCovered,” he wrote at the time.
Two and half years later, Twitter users are still drooling over how handsome Biden was during his college years. “Yes boss I’m sorry I’m late I got caught up screaming to my entire sorority about how hot Joe Biden was in college,” one person tweeted, while another wrote, “It’s been days and I’m still not over young Joe Biden.”
Others couldn’t believe that people were talking about Biden’s good looks in the past tense. “People saying Joe Biden ‘used to’ be hot like he still isn’t the sexiest man alive,” one woman tweeted. Another agreed: “Everyone is saying young Joe Biden was super hot but like he’s still the most attractive man ever.”
