One year down! Zac Efron and Sami Miró's relationship is getting serious. The couple rang in their first anniversary together by sharing adorable Instagram photos of each other on Monday, Sept. 7.
"Happy anniversary baby 🙂 I love you @samimiro September 5th," Efron, 27, captioned a photo of him kissing her cheek.
In a cute selfie, the model, 27, added: "Time flies when you're having fun. Happy anniversary baby I love you too @zacefron September 5."
The We Are Your Friends actor first stepped out with Miró last September. The lovebirds attended a Dodgers vs. Giants game in L.A. on Sept. 22. The following month, Efron brought Miró to his friend Dave Beran's wedding in Chicago. (Efron previously dated fellow Disney alum and High School Musical costar Vanessa Hudgens for three years until their split in December 2010. He and Michelle Rodriguez parted ways after a short two-month fling in August 2014.)
The couple have kept relatively mum about their relationship, but Miró did open up about wearing the hunky actor's clothes in an interview with Elle magazine back in March.
"So I think with Zac—we shop together all the time, and I just naturally like to pick out clothes—our styles have mixed together. I definitely do borrow some cool shirts and jackets of his, too, so it works out really well," she said at the time. "We kind of coordinate in a way. I think when you…hang out…you start to appreciate what the other person has to offer and clothing, because we're both really into it, comes out in that way also."
Miro also appreciates keeping their relationship somewhat private. "I'm not trying to hide anything in my life. If I was dating someone who wasn't in the limelight, I might have more photos on [Instagram] of our relationship, but I do think it's important," she added. "I mean, it's what is going on in my life, and I think that my social media can still represent that."
