It’s official: Zayn Malik is more than just friends with Gigi Hadid. The “Pillowtalk” singer confirmed during an interview on Zach Sang & the Gang that the model is indeed his girlfriend.
“Was it cool to have your girlfriend in the video?” radio personality Jill asked Malik, referring to the new music video for his hit single “Pillowtalk,” which features Hadid, 20.
“Yeah, that was cool. It was something different. We enjoyed it, it was fun. Had a lot of fun on set,” the former One Directioner, 23, responded.
Zach Sang and the Gang then asked, “No one easier to make out with than your own girlfriend, right?” “Exactly,” Malik replied, putting all doubt to rest and confirming Us Weekly’s exclusive report from November that the two were dating.
Malik, who is releasing his first solo album on March 25, was previously engaged to Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards. Hadid split from Joe Jonas just weeks before stepping out with the singer.
