Shines like a jewel! Actress Zelda Williams, the daughter of late comedian Robin Williams, walked her first official red carpet this past Saturday, Jan. 17, following her father’s death last August.
The Hollywood scion, 25, smoldered at the Nine Zero One Salon Melrose Place Launch Party, wearing a black dress with a plunging neckline that revealed her toned physique. She accessorized her gown with a gold orb choker by BaubleBar, and styled her brunette tresses down in loose waves, even joking about her primped and polished look via Instagram.
“Photographic evidence that I got my hair done for the first time in 5 months,” Zelda wrote alongside a snap of herself surrounded by a glam squad. “Much improved, haha. Let’s not even start on the makeup, don’t think I’ve done that in years.” The star also gave a shout-out to her fellow celebrity pal Nina Dobrev for capturing the moment. “Thanks @ninezeroone! (and Nina, for sassypants photo and pose direction.)”
Dobrev returned the love with a multi pic Instagram post shared Monday, Jan. 19. Another celebrity at the event who showed love for Zelda was Emma Roberts. “Can’t believe I’ve known this gorgeous girl 10 years,” the American Horror Story actress wrote alongside a snap of the two making squeamish funny faces.
As Zelda noted in her social media update on Monday, over five months have passed since Robin Williams’ suicide at age 63 on Aug. 11. Since his passing, Zelda made only two public appearances prior to Saturday’s party: Her first was at Game 5 of the World Series last October, where she and her big brothers Zak and Cody tossed the ceremonial first pitch with Billy Crystal. The second was in November, when Zelda attended a Nintendo party at Hollywood hotspot Bootsy Bellows.
Zelda — Robin’s daughter with his second wife Marsha Garces — also got a gorgeous hummingbird tattoo to honor her late father last fall, which she proudly showed off on the red carpet this past weekend.
She initially shared an up-close shot of the delicate winged creature inked on her wrist, writing on Instagram that it was in memory of her “poppa.” She added: “Thank you to the incomparable @dr_woo_ssc for so beautifully bringing my reminders to life. I’ll always put my hand out to shake with a smile.”
