The Mandalorian alum died at age 51 on April 14 after battling an unspecified illness. His brother, Alex Hackford, confirmed the news to Variety at the time. Rio was the eldest son of director Taylor Hackford and the stepson of Helen Mirren. “This is a massive loss,” Lake Bell commented via Instagram after learning the news.
