Caroll Spinney
The Sesame Street puppeteer, who played the beloved character Big Bird for nearly 50 years, died on December 8 after “living with dystonia for some time.” He was 85. Spinney also operated and voiced Oscar the Grouch before retiring from kids series in October 2018.
