Doris Day
The legendary actress and singer died at age 97 on May 13 after “contracting a serious case of pneumonia,” according to a statement released by her animal foundation. She was best known for her roles in Pillow Talk (1959) and That Touch of Mink (1962), in addition to singing “Whatever Will Be, Will Be (Que Sera, Sera)” in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1956 movie The Man Who Knew Too Much.
