The Twin Peaks alum died from cancer at age 72 on May 11, according to her daughters, Rashida and Kidada Jones. “We are heartbroken that our beloved mother passed away from cancer today. She made her journey peacefully with her daughters and nieces by her side,” they said in a statement to USA Today at the time. “We feel so lucky for every moment we spent with her.”
