While the Bravo personalities are used to bringing the drama, breakups aren’t easy on anyone. In 2021, celebrities from some of the network’s biggest hits, including Summer House and The Real Housewives of Orange County and more have face heartache. Southern Charm stars Kathryn Dennis, Craig Conover and Naomie Olindo all split from their significant others this year. While Conover has moved on with fellow Winter House star Paige DeSorbo, his Charleston pals have seemingly stayed single ladies throughout 2021. Kent and Emmett were the first Vanderpump Rules couple to call it quits this year, but they weren’t the last. James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss called off their engagement in December after seven months. The Give Them Lala Beauty founder, however, was engaged to Emmett for three years before eagle-eyed fans noticed there might be trouble in paradise. After Kent wiped her Instagram page clean of photos of Emmett, it sparked split speculation in October. Us Weekly confirmed on November 3 that the Utah native and the filmmaker had parted ways. “Randall did not want to split but it was Lala’s decision,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “The trust is gone.” The insider explained that Emmett was “trying to win her back,” but for now, Kent is “focused on her daughter and her projects.” One month later, Kent’s longtime pal and costar Kennedy announced his split from Leviss after five years together. “It was a tumultuous relationship,” a source exclusively told Us on December 7. “[Raquel] still wants the best for him. They had a happy time together. … She’s also grown as well and this relationship outgrew her. Kenya Moore and Marc Daly

“After recently attending mediation, Kenya and I have agreed to end our marriage,” Daly said in a statement in January, more than one year after announcing their first split. “I will always have great care for her and look forward to amicably continuing to co-parent our daughter Brooklyn with an abundance of love and wisdom.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star filed for divorce four months later, seeking sole physical and legal custody of their daughter, Brooklyn. Moore’s attorney later confirmed to Us that custody was “resolved in a prior case that was sealed.” According to the lawyer, the duo’s daughter will “remain living with Kenya” in the house she owned before marrying Daly.

Us confirmed in January that the Summer House star and Traversie called it quits after more than one year of dating. The pair were first linked during the summer of 2019, but by October 2020, they were no longer popping up on each other’s social media pages.

Tinsley Mortimer and Scott Kluth

“After fourteen months of engagement, Tinsley and I have ended our relationship, and we have been living independently for the last few months,” Kluth said in a statement to Us in March. “This was an incredibly difficult decision, but it is one that I believe is best for both of us. I will always care about Tinsley, and I sincerely wish her happiness and success in all that she does in the future.” Mortimer previously left The Real Housewives of New York City to move to Chicago with Kluth following their November 2019 engagement.

The Real Housewives of Dallas star announced her separation during the season 5 reunion, which aired in May. “After the show finished, me and Eduardo had to have a real heart-to-heart talk and we decided we needed to go our separate ways. We just told our kids,” Kary, who married Eduardo in 2009, explained at the time. “Obviously, I’m really scared and I think I was definitely, you know, trying to mask what I was going through and I’m very ashamed of my behavior, my kids seeing that. I really regret it. I’m thankful to my girlfriends for pointing it out and it really made me take a closer look at what I was going through.”

The Winter House star confirmed during a May episode of his “Pillows and Beer” podcast that he and Hegnauer split after meeting in 2019. “I’m going through, like, [a] breakup, and it’s nothing terrible, it’s just so easy to drink to avoid dealing with anything,” Conover said at the time. “I didn’t do anything except, like, positive productivity. And now I’m, like, trying to stay in that groove because [it’s] like a dark place to be in.”

Three months later, a source told Us that the Southern Charm star and the former Love Connection contestant “broke up months ago” and are “still good friends, it just wasn’t a good match.” Conover has since moved on with Summer House’s DeSorbo.

The duo announced in July that they were separating after 26 years of marriage. “We are packing up this house, the one we filmed in last year, and we are moving,” the Real Housewives of Orange County alum said during an Instagram Live video. ”We have decided jointly that we are going to take a few months apart.”

The news came one month after Us confirmed that Windham-Burke was dating Fernanda Rocha after coming out as a lesbian in December 2020. The former Bravo personality was then linked to Jamie Parton before being spotted kissing Victoria Brito on the beach in Miami in December. Amid all of her new romances, Windham-Burke and her ex have remained married and coparent their seven kids.

The Southern Charm star split from Shah in July, less than one month after they relocated from Charleston, South Carolina, to New York City together. The pair were together for three years before parting ways.

Olindo broke her silence about the breakup later that month, seemingly confirming that the relationship ended due to infidelity on the doctor’s part. “Nothing will be worse than losing my dad, but this is a close second,” she wrote via her Instagram Story. “Betrayal is never easy for anyone and I’m just so sorry to anyone else that has stumbled across those terrible messages.”

Vicki Gunvalson and Steve Lodge

Us confirmed in September that the OG Housewife and Lodge ended their two-year engagement. “Steve broke up with Vicki while she was filming the [Real Housewives] spinoff show in the Berkshires,” a source exclusively said at the time. “After he told her this, she was traumatized. It ruined her.”

A second insider told Us, the former couple’s relationship “did not involve any fighting” and that the breakup was a result of Lodge spending more time in Mexico while Gunvalson is working in California.

The pair sparked split speculation in October after Kent wiped all photos of Emmett from her Instagram. One month later, Us confirmed that the Vanderpump Rules star and the Midnight in the Switchgrass director pulled the plug on their relationship following a three-year engagement.

The Southern Charm star sparked romance speculation with Ravenell in July 2020, but things fizzled out more than one year later. “She broke up with him and they are no longer living together,” a source exclusively told Us in November. “There is no bad ill-will between them.”

Us confirmed in December that the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum and his girlfriend of more than one year had parted ways. “I have a lot going on right now and don’t have time for a relationship,” Giudice told Us at the time. “Between my new attorney and [my] appeal to get back to the U.S., my work here in the Bahamas [and] new projects, I just don’t have the time or headspace for that.”

The Vanderpump Rules stars revealed in December that they parted ways just seven months after Kennedy proposed to Leviss. “After these 5 wonderful years we had together, we decided we have two different goals and made the decision to call off the engagement,” the pair wrote in a joint statement shared via their respective social media pages. “We love each other very much, but we aren’t in love anymore. We want nothing but the best for each other so please keep any thoughts positive. Sending Love.”
