An affair to remember! Ballers star Jazmyn Simon celebrated her upcoming nuptials to finance Dulé Hill with an intimate bridal shower on Saturday, March 24, and shared exclusive details from the event with Us Weekly.

The 33-year-old Baggage Claim actress hosted 50 of her closest family and friends who came from near and far to honor the glowing bride-to-be. Simon stunned in an A.L.C. top and high-waisted white pants — adding a pop of color with a pair of electric yellow Christian Louboutins. She completed the look with a Cartier Love bracelet and her stunning engagement ring from her love.

Picture Perfect Setting

The elegant shower, which was held in Beverly Park at the Garland located in North Hollywood, California, holds a special place in the couple’s heart. “It's one of our favorite places to go,” Simon shared with Us. “When I was picking a venue for the shower, it just felt like the right place to be, because not only do we go there, but in the ‘90s when Dulé was only 15 years old, he came out and tested for a show and he stayed there. I felt like it was very full circle for us to have the bridal shower there.”

Personal Touches

Guests marveled over custom champagne glass stirrers engraved with #SimonSaysHill and a beautiful sign baring the same hashtag, which were designed by Delovely Details.

Jazmyn’s Vision

Simon’s fairytale shower was made possible with the help of expert party planners Chic Celebrations. “I welled up when I walked in. It was just so beautiful,” Simon gushed of the beautifully decorated venue. “It was beyond anything that I could ever have hoped for and dreamed for. I walked in and I saw ladies that I loved in a place — it just felt so warm and welcoming.”

A Delicious Brunch

Partygoers were treated to a three-course dining experience catered by The Garland Hotel. “The first course was avocado toast, which was amazing. And then we had a crab quiche. We didn't want anything too heavy,” the star explained. For dessert, partygoers munched on beignets and banana bread and pastries provided by Lou the French On The Block. “They have the best almond croissants. They weighed at least a pound,” Simon joked. Custom name cards and menus on each place setting were created by Fleur De Letters.

Toasting the Bride-To-Be

The San Francisco native’s friend Jocelyn McKinney led a toast for her bestie while guests sipped on hibiscus champagne and mimosas. “[It] was emotional for me, because we've been best friends for almost 20 years. She said that Dulé was my soulmate, and that I was his soulmate,” she continued.” When Mckinney said that he was my soulmate, and [that] she knew from the moment that we met that we were destined to be with one another, that took me over the top.” Cherished Rentals provided green glass wear, chargers and gold flatware, which added to the elegance.

Girl Time

Guests including Grace Byers, Maggie Lawson and Bresha Webb shared stories and played games while relaxing on luxurious lounge furniture provided by Signature Party Rentals.

All the Details

To help produce the affair, the Tyler Perry's Acrimony actress tapped Be Inspired PR. “We can't say enough amazing things about working with Jazymn Simon,” event producer Leila Lewis told Us. “She had a vision of what the day would be like and trusted our team to bring it all to life. It was a chic garden themed affair, with soft colors of green and white paired with personalized details.”

Dripping With Flowers

“We went with a Havana/tropical theme, keeping the florals mostly neutral with pops of vibrant pinks,” a designer from Bloominous explained of the vibrant floral arrangements. “These colors worked best with the wood tones of the furniture and glassware that was brought in. We used a lot of tropical greens like palm, monstera, and philodendron. Cymbidium Orchids were added to make it more feminine and delicate but we also incorporated roses and ornamental pineapples. We lay loose greenery along the center of the table to connect the arrangements and make the table more cohesive.”
