Keep your friends close … but your exes closer? The Kardashian-Jenner family is known to stay on good terms with their exes. Kris Jenner seemingly set the precedent when she stayed friendly with ex-husband Robert Kardashian Sr. before his 2003 death. “It took me a couple of years after Robert and I got divorced, but we became the best of friends,” the momager said on Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2019. “So I know a thing or two about being friendly with your ex and coparenting.” During the same episode, Kourtney Kardashian revealed her mother and father, who finalized their divorce in 1991, were her inspiration for maintaining a friendship with ex Scott Disick. “I know with my parents, as soon as everyone got along, life was so much easier. It felt like everyone was happy,” Kourtney, who shares sons Mason and Reign and daughter Penelope with Disick, explained. Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner have followed in their mother and sister’s footsteps with respective exes Tristan Thompson and Travis Scott. “I definitely take a lot of learning [and] tips from Scott and Kourtney,” Khloé, who shares daughter True with Thompson, told Us Weekly exclusively in 2019. “They do such a seamless job at it.” [jwplayer R8KSwUuz-l3ahXupL] Following Kylie and Scott’s 2019 split, an insider told Us that there was no awkwardness between Stormi’s parents. “There’s no animosity, no ill will or any negative feelings at all right now. They are both putting aside any romantic differences to be the best parents in the world for their daughter. Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker

The 818 Tequila founder's romance with the basketball player started in spring 2020 as a casual fling and quickly grew serious. However, Us confirmed the pair split in June 2022, just one month after Booker accompanied Kendall to Kourtney and Travis Barker's May wedding in Italy.

An insider explained that “Kourtney’s wedding really put things into perspective” for the exes, who are “still super amicable and supportive of each other” despite going their separate ways.

They were spotted hanging out in Malibu, California, just days after the breakup news broke, proving they were still friendly. Booker also "liked" his ex's nude sunbathing photo via Instagram while the model did the same for a photo of her former flame. 

In August 2022, Us confirmed that the pair were officially back together.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Us Weekly confirmed that the pair called it quits after six years of marriage in February 2021. The news came one month after Us reported that Kardashian and West were in settlement talks after she put lawyer Laura Wasser on "retainer" in the summer of 2020. In November 2022, the twosome finalized their divorce.

Kardashian and the Grammy winner tied the knot in Italy in May 2014. They welcomed their first daughter, North, nearly one year earlier. The couple also share son Saint, born in 2015, daughter Chicago, born in 2018, and son Psalm, born in 2019.

Khloe Kardashian and French Montana

While Khloé’s relationship with the rapper didn’t work out in 2014, Montana maintained a close relationship with the entire family.

"Me and Khloé are always going to be friends, and the family still remains close,” the musician told Haute Living in 2019. "I feel like we had a real dope relationship―there was no bad blood, nobody did something to somebody that we couldn’t come back from. The love was real. When the love was like that, it’s always going to be like that. Friendship after a relationship is something that’s real hard to do, and I’m glad we’ve been able to do it."

Montana is often spotted at Kardashian family get-togethers, including Kourtney’s 40th birthday party in September 2019.

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson

While things between Khloé and Thompson ended on a sour note after he cheated on her for the second time in February 2019, she made an effort to stay on good terms with him for the sake of their daughter, True. Kim also stepped up to befriend the NBA player after publicly slamming him for his infidelities.

“He's like, honestly, so nice," Kim said of Thompson in a deleted scene from season 18 of KUWTK in 2020. "Like, he's really nice. He's really trying, really hard. And it's been a full year of him as a different person."

The Skims cofounder added in March 2020 via Twitter that she loves the athlete “like a brother.” While Thompson and Kardashian reunited amid the coronavirus pandemic in August 2020, they split again in June 2021. In January 2022, Thompson confirmed he had cheated on Kardashian again and fathered a son, born the month prior, with Maralee Nichols.

Us confirmed in July 2022 that the exes are expecting their second child together via surrogate, a baby boy. The carrier was already pregnant before news broke of Thompson’s paternity scandal.

While waiting for baby No. 2 to arrive, Khloé's family was "supportive" of her choice to welcome another child, but they weren't so thrilled with Thompson's behavior. "Most of them have distanced themselves from him, especially after learning about him expecting a baby with Maralee," a source told Us in July 2022. 

That same month, Thompson was spotted holding hands with a mystery woman in Greece, which didn't surprise the Kardashian clan. 

“Tristan normally does his own thing and is present when it comes to True,” a source exclusively told Us of the Canada native's personal life. “Him being spotted with another woman isn’t shocking news to the Kardashians — it’s happened multiple times over the past few months.”

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom

It’s no secret that Khloé dropped everything to help her ex-husband after his 2015 overdose. While they finalized their divorce the following year, the Good American designer publicly supported the basketball player after he released his memoir in 2019. Khloé also spoke about their relationship on KUWTK at the time.

“I miss him all the time, but not in a place where I want to get back with him,” she said. “So, he called me and he was like, ‘I just knew we were all gonna talk again at some point. I’m just so happy.’ He was like, ‘I would love to see you. I’ve been dying to see you in person. I just feel like we have so much to talk about.'”

While Odom previously said that he wanted to reconnect with Khloé romantically, the Dancing With the Stars alum concluded in 2019 that they are “meant” to be friends. He proposed to Sabrina Parr later that year.

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick

After dating on and off for a decade, Kourtney and Disick called it quits in 2015. While a source told Us in June 2020 that Disick is “always flirting” with Kourtney — especially after his split from Sofia Richie — it’s not likely they will get back together.

“Scott is so happy that he and Kourtney get along so well and how easy it is with her. It’s weird to everyone else, but not to them. They are really like best friends,” the insider said. “The family also loves him and he’s like another son to Kris.”

During an interview with Us in 2019, Disick opened up about his relationship with Kourtney. “Just because their mother and I couldn’t make it as a perfect, romantic couple shouldn’t have anything to do with the kids,” he told Us. “They don’t deserve our mistakes, so we figured out a way.”

Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima

Kourtney and Bendjima split in 2018 after two years of dating, but that didn’t stop them from spending time together.

“Kourtney likes having Younes around because they have great sexual chemistry and it’s fun for her,” a source told Us in April 2019.“ She thinks he’s young and hot and has a great body and she’s in control of the situation. She has a much more refined approach to everything in her life, in terms of business and taking care of her kids and coparenting with Scott. [He] is aware that she doesn’t want to deal with any craziness.”

The Poosh founder and Bendjima have been spotted at Disneyland, out in Miami and even at the Kardashian family Christmas party after their breakup.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott

After the twosome split in October 2019, Kylie confirmed that there was no animosity between them. “Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi,” she tweeted at the time. “Our friendship and our daughter is priority.”

A source previously told Us that they’re “great partners” in life. “They love each other and they share a daughter that will bind them together for life,” the source said.

Kylie proved that the duo are on good terms by quarantining with Scott amid the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.

Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles

After the pair were first linked in late 2013, Kendall was spotted with the musician on a cozy trip to Anguilla in 2015. While their romance fizzled, they have stayed close.

“Harry and Kendall are great friends and always have been,” an insider told Us in December 2019 after the model appeared as one of Styles’ guests when he hosted an episode of The Late Late Show With James Corden. “They don’t get to spend a lot of time together, but when they do, they always have a blast. It’s an easy, super chill friendship.”

Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons

The model’s on-again, off-again relationship with the NBA star started in 2018. Fast-forward two years and the twosome continue to straddle the line between friends and dating.  

“They both like having a no-strings-attached type of relationship with each other, for the most part,” a source told Us in February 2020. “They both work and travel frequently and don’t find it very realistic to be in an exclusive relationship with one another. They do really like each other though and love spending time together.”

Luka Sabbat / Kourtney Kardashian / Kendall Jenner

Kourtney may have briefly dated the Instagram influencer in 2018, but that didn’t stop Kendall from maintaining a friendship with Sabbat.

“Kendall and Luka are friends and have been forever,” a source told Us in February 2020. “Luka is still so close with Kendall and her family, even after his fling with Kourtney, and it’s because he’s such a fun, down to earth, cool guy.”

Scott Disick / Sofia Richie / Kylie Jenner

When Disick started dating Richie, the model’s longtime friendship with Kylie was seemingly strained. After Disick got on better terms with Kourtney, however, Richie and Kylie’s relationship picked up right where it left off.

“Kylie and Sofia have always run in the same circle and are very close in age, so they’ve bonded a lot through the years,” an insider told Us in 2019. “They’ve always been in the limelight, lived very similar lifestyles and grown up around a lot of the same people. They’ve gotten a lot closer as of late now that the Kourtney, Scott and Sofia drama has died down. Once any drama between Kourtney and Sofia blew over, Kylie felt more comfortable spending girl time with Sofia again.”

And while Disick and Richie split in May 2020, her friendship with the Kylie Cosmetics CEO didn’t suffer. “Sofia and Kylie are still friends and their friendship hasn’t been affected by her breakup with Scott,” a second source told Us at the time. “They have had a super close relationship for a while and Sofia hasn’t done anything wrong to make their friendship be jeopardized.”

Adrienne Balion / Rob Kardashian / Kourtney Kardashian

The former Disney star’s romance with Rob didn’t work out in 2010, but she found a friend for life in Kourtney.  

“When I broke up with Rob Kardashian, my breakup buddy was his sister Kourtney,” Balion said on The Real in 2017. “I was definitely more the sad one crying at home and she was like, ‘No girl, we are going to go out. We’re going to hit the clubs in Hollywood. We’re going to have so much fun!’”

Two years later, Kourtney made a guest appearance on The Real.

While Kim’s friendship with Bailon was rocky after the actress said being “stuck with that Kardashian label” hurt her career during an interview with Latina magazine, the drama proved to be water under the bridge by 2018.

"North's obsession,” Kim captioned a video of her eldest daughter watching the Cheetah Girls in 2018. “Should I break the news that to North that this could have been her auntie?!?!?!"

Bailon replied at the time, "Just woke up to this! Lol. Hysterical! Cheetahlicious!"
