Khloe Kardashian on ‘Good Sides’ to Tristan Thompson, Lamar Odom’s ‘Big Brother’ Pleas: ‘Not Skinny But Not Fat’ Revelations

Keeping up with Khloé. Khloé Kardashian gave new insight into her relationships with exes Tristan Thompson and Lamar Odom and more in a rare interview. “I, like, miss the old me,” the 37-year-old reality star began on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast on Tuesday, May 24, noting that she “overthink(s) everything now,” which is why she doesn’t do much press. “Doing interviews, I’m so hesitant to do them because people take 22 second clips and they make a TikTok video out of them. And then that's out of context and then it turns into this viral thing. And I'm like, ‘What if you caught the first five minutes?’ You would understand maybe why I said that, or I don't know. Now we're always stuck explaining ourselves and I think the world is so eager to cancel people.” In her lengthy conversation with Amanda Hirsch, Kardashian opened up about reliving her relationship with Thompson, 31, on The Kardashians. The first season of the Hulu show filmed when the twosome, who share daughter True, 4, were back together after navigating two prior cheating scandals. They split again during winter 2021 when news broke the NBA star was unfaithful again, fathering another woman’s child. “When we first started the show, there was no social media. … In the beginning, you didn't have so many people having access to giving you a narrative,” she said of backlash. “This isn't natural, how much we're exposed to and hearing so much outside noise. It's definitely something that you can't prepare yourself for. … I would say the past couple years, it's definitely taken a shift. I don't know if it has to do with maybe like stuff between me and Tristan — I’m not sure if, like, that maybe broke my confidence and then everything else piled on.” [sendtonews type="float" key="vD4t3Ipfj0-2832898-14453"] Kardashian noted that she and Thompson get along for the sake of their daughter. “She FaceTimes him every night and it's just very, like, cordial. There's just not drama,” she said. “Like to me, the facts are the facts. What are we continuously fighting about? … I don't need to know everything, but I know the facts and that's enough for me.” As for future relationships, Kardashian said she’s “not in that headspace” to date at the moment. “I feel like if I meet someone, like, organically, I don't know,” she explained. “I’m not on any apps and not that I’m, like, against it. I just can't see myself really … I like energy. On the Disneyland Photoshop Drama

“I f—ked up the lie,” Khloé admitted of Kim Kardashian replacing Kylie Jenner’s daughter with True in photos from Disneyland in November 2021.

While Khloé didn’t give specifics, she noted that Jenner didn’t want Stormi online amid “drama” at the time, seemingly referring to the mass casualty incident at Travis Scott’s Astroworld event. “[Kim] said, ‘Oh, I just need it for my grid.' I was like, ‘OK, it's fine. Post it. I didn't care.’ I thought she looked so cute. I was like, ‘She looks great.’ Did not think even anyone would pay this much attention.”

On Scott’s Reaction to Kravis

Khloé explained that she has the most “empathy” and “patience” for dealing with Scott Disick’s struggles as Kourtney Kardashian moved on with now-husband Travis Barker, but she regrets not being tougher on her sister’s ex and reminding him he had “a two-year long relationship that just ended” too.

“I do get sucked into [his] story too,” she said of Disick feeling sorry for himself. “I’m like, ‘No, I need to say things more as well.'”

Did Khloe Yell ‘Liar’ During ’The Kardashians’ Premiere?

The Good American designer confirmed reports that she recreated her infamous moment yelling “liar” on the phone in Palm Springs amid Thompson’s scandal with Jordyn Woods in February 2019 at the April premiere of The Kardashians.

“I’m now a viewer. And I'm like, ‘What the f—k is this bulls—t that I'm listening to?’” she said of seeing Thompson talk about changing and working on himself in therapy. “That was the first thing that came to mind, but I also felt like, and this totally could have been me making it up was that everyone was, like, looking at me to see my reaction. And I don't know if that's true or not.”

Khloe on the ‘Good Sides’ to Tristan

“It’s sad because, like, there’s so many good sides to him as well, but no one gets to see those ’cause they’re all overshadowed by, like, the personal stuff that’s going on between him and I,” she said of her ex, adding that the basketball player is “a good person" but “not a good partner” for her.

She continued: “I want everyone to still have, like, a fair shot at just being happy and having a good life. So I don’t ever encourage anyone to just, like, jump on that bandwagon, but I also think people can have their own feelings and do what they want, but he’s always going to be in my life because of True, and he’s a great dad, and that’s all I really need to focus on.”

Did Tristan Give Khloe a Heads-Up About Paternity Scandal?

“I found out every time through a sister. I find out with the rest of the world, which is the most offensive part,” Khloé said of learning Thompson was expecting a child with Maralee Nichols, who gave birth to son Theo in December 2021.

She confirmed that Kim was the one to call her about Thompson while cameras were rolling. “All of it is f–ked up, but can there be a little respect?” she asked.

Lamar Talking About Her on ‘Big Brother’

Earlier this year, Khloé’s ex-husband made headlines almost daily for gushing about her during his stint on Celebrity Big Brother.

“I want everyone to be successful and do what they want to do. Like, I'm happy for Lamar. He looks like he's in a really good place,” she said, noting that she hasn’t seen him in years. “I think it's so sweet that he says such nice things about me. And not to be, like, arrogant, but I wouldn't expect him not to say anything nice about me. Like, I don't know. .. We’ve been cool with one another, so I don't expect anything negative, but sometimes people jump on that bandwagon just for attention. And I'm proud that he's not doing that.”

When asked about comments that “bother” her, Khloé said that she thinks it’s “crazy” that people believe she’s had “12 face transplants.”

“I've had one nose job,” she insisted. “That I love. Like, I want everyone to know. … I just think constantly just the comparisons [of] either — they want to say, like, ‘the old me’ vs. what I look like now. I don't know if it's that. I mean, or even just comparing me to my sisters all the time.”
