North West and Penelope Kardashian Celebrate Their Birthdays at Unicorn-Themed Party

Best friends forever. North West and her cousin Penelope Disick celebrated their birthdays at a unicorn-themed party on Sunday, June 3. The birthday girls — North turns 5 on June 15, while Penelope will be 6 on July 8 — wore matching rainbow-colored robes and swimsuits at the celebration documented by North’s mom, Kim Kardashian, on her Instagram Story. Their aunt Kylie Jenner was also in attendance, with her daughter Stormi. She posted an Instagram photo holding the 4-month-old, and captioned it: "happy birthday North & P." They Had the Cutest Decorations

The KKW founder, 37, shared some behind-the-scenes videos of the decorations. In a clip on her Instagram story, she showed a table decorated with pastel-colored balloons and flowers, and the tiny seats were covered in pink fake fur.

Unicorn-Themed Treats

“North and Penelope’s unicorn birthday party today,” Kardashian says in a clip showing that the party was decked out with sweet treats, including unicorn-inspired cakes, donuts and cupcakes. North can be heard in the background and the reality TV star tells her to “go with Daddy.” Kanye West was recently in Wyoming for the listening party of his latest album, Ye, on Thursday, May 31, but made it back to L.A. in time to celebrate with his daughter. He tweeted a video on Sunday of his firstborn singing along to one of his new tracks titled “No Mistakes.” North, wearing her pajamas in the back of a car, sings: “Make no mistake, I still love you.”

The Family Hired a Kid DJ

DJ Livia provided the music for the celebration. Kim shared a clip of the 10-year-old on the turntables on her Instagram Story, with radio host Big Boy showing his approval of the young talent in the background. “She’s a real DJ,” he says in the video.

All Dressed Up

The duo were all smiles in a video Kardashian shared. They kept it simple with their outfits for their birthday bash, wearing bathing suits, and they later jumped in the pool together. North changed up her usually curly hair for a pin-straight hairstyle for her big day. The party wasn’t the 4-year-old’s only way of celebrating her upcoming birthday. Her mom revealed on Saturday, June 2, that Alexander Wang sent North two handbags as presents, including a leopard-print one that’s worth $750 and another sparkly one. “Oh my god, North is the luckiest girl in the world. Who gets this bag from Alexander Wang?” the Selfish author said in the video.

"Real Unicorns"

Kim and big sister Kourtney Kardashian are known to go all out for their girls, and this time around was no exception. The sisters rented real horses for the event and dressed them up in spiraling horns and colorful hair to make them look like unicorns.
